Hey thanks! I have reuploaded a new version, with some more graphic details for Wine, including directx etc... Can you redownload and test again?

Sure, offline disc works separately, so your saved career games won't be overwritten upon save disc update for online play!
If you want to use custom tactics, duplicate the online save disc and rename it accordingly to match offline save disc's name. That's it.

Also, thanks for your feedback. Glad it works.
You wrote "almost" perfect. What can be improved?

Try now, with 800x600 fullscreen setting! Should work fine.

Hi,

I tried this one on my Macbook. The problem is when I start it, I do not know how the Keyboard Layouts A, B, C work. Since I only have a left CTRL on my Macbook and it seems none of my keys gets me further with Keyboard Layout C.

Can someone help?

Do this, and enjoy!
Arrow keys + left CTRL!

Thanks, that works. Just wondering if there is a way to remap the keys? Or explain to me what the other options are? Because the arrow keys on my Macbook are quite small.

Another thing, the suggested 800x600 fullscreen doesn't work in Offline mode. I just get the 672 x 544 version. Also all strechable modes are not working and fullscreen also doesn't. I downloaded it today.

Only working in 672 x 544 fixed window, all other modes aren't working.

Just a side ote: also be sure to turn off all mappings that use control in combination with CTRL and ARROW KEYS in your system settings of your Mac. Could add this to the tutorial

Not quite correct! It should work, if you setup the wine package yourself, on your Mac!
For this preconfigured one, I was just aiming for compatibility with all Mac settings.

Thanks for the feedback, what should I install from Wine? Wine and Wine Bottler? Because when I install just Wine, I do not see any config or setup options as you suggest and resize isn't working with running the app AMIGA SWOS that is provided.

Well I installed both the Wine Bottler as Wine, and then ran the downloaded Mac app from the tutorial on Sensiblesoccer.de but nothing changer on my Mac with OSX 10.7.5 . Still all the same problems, no resizable windows, after resize Sensi just freezes. Should it have improved? Or do you mean that I should install Wine, and somehow figure out how this strange program works and then download the other Windows app to be run in Wine? It's really not clear to me what you mean by 'configure / setup Wine' , what settings should be changed? Since it looks like there are a lot of options, some of wich I probably do not need.

I can imagine it is easier for the Mac to use Wine, since you then only had to make the Windows SWOS 16/17 app. Or is there also a verion I could use in FS-UAE? Since I have that one running perfectly and in fullscreen on my Mac.

It's optimized for OS X 10.12.x  (Sierra)!

Winebottler should be very easy to use. The only option which is sort of "experimental" is the DirectX one... Try with, or without!

First of all thanks Playaveli for setting up my ASWOS for Mac today in Wine. Now that I know I can ONLY use the fixed resolution of 672 x 544 (older Macbook with just a 2Ghz Core 2 Duo and 3 GB of RAM, OSX 10.7.5), the native app that is posted here now also works, and better than the Wine version on 50 FPS, and the Wine version you installed is now stuck at 42 FPS. Just these problems are remaining:

- In the native app I cannot switch between 96/97 and 16/17, the first choice I made when starting the game remains the setting even if I switch afterwards. So now I just have to versions running, the native is stuck on 16/17.
- For the Wine version I experimented with lots of different lower resolutions, and somehow I could resize the fixed window on my second screen. Could this have corrupted this version? Since it now always switches to 'Properties of WINUAE' and the Display tab with these settings: 672 x 544, Centering: horizontal and vertical checked, Line Mode: Doubled, Refresh: Every Frame, other checkboxes are unchecked. And now the game seems to be stuck at 42 FPS and is not playable. Please not that this version is stuck on 96/96 and I cannot switch to the 16/17 version, at least in offline mode.

So if the problem with the selection on the native MAC app is fixed, I won't need the Wine version anymore. And these problems can be discarded. Since I now am missing the option to switch between the 96/97 and the 16/17 game on my Mac, in offline mode.

There is no "native" app... it's the same process like I did on your computer! What you can download here is also done with wine bottler!

Ok, so the best thing to do for me now is to remove Amiga SWOS that is installed and re-install it in Wine Bottler as you did yesterday? And just stick to the fixed window to make sure I get 50fps. And also try it with or without the Direct X. Because on my OSX 10.7.5 (Lion) it seems resize always goes haywire ;-).

Correct!

And if you have problems with version-switch, then just install two of them... one with 96/97, one with 16/17 chosen on first time! :)
Problems solved!

Thanks, I finally have tested the mac version of Amiga SWOS. I now understand what the Wine Bottler does, wrapping the file in a Windows Emulator (Wine) with certain preconfigured settings (as you show in the screenshot on this forum). In the end, it just looks like my old white Macbook (3GB memory, 2.7Ghz Core 2 Duo) is just too old to run a Amiga emulator whitin a Windows emulator and do online play. It then gets stuck at 40 FPS.

Offline play works fine at 50FPS, the 96/97 to 16/17 switch works again and I can use the savedisk if I like to discover some of the 16/17 teams used for online play. Then I just use the default fixed window 672 x 544, hide the dock, and switch my resolution to 1024x640 ;-). On my mac the resizing doesn't work, if I use the default it works like a charm.

So all in all, I will just use PC for online play ;-) until I have the time to set up a multiboot with Windows on my Mac, that might still work. Then I just kinda figure I do need to have an ehternet connection or real fast wifi to get it to work.
