Unbelievable! I was amazed with work which already been done to SWOS online (web page and game itself) but i'm over the moon with these news.  I need to reorganise many things in my life and try to gain a bit more free time for SWOS :)

No! Not needed. This is not an emulator! ;)

I think question is because of online playing. I guess we can play online in SWOS 2020?

Sure thing! We already could with DOS version via IPX. But those "obstacles" that came along with it are now freed.
Count on classic p2p, via UDP!

And SWOS 2020 is "only" a port of SWOS 96/97 or are there any possibilities to have something like 4 or more leagues in Germany and to play, for example, 50 seasons in a career mode and other features that are not in the original version (like more than 64 teams in a DIY tournament and so on)?

It's possible in theory, but no empty promises here!

From what I see in the video it is possible to have any music we want in game (as long as it is in mp3 format). Also is it possible to change menu graphics to give it a more modern look? Something like we have discuss in other topic here -> http://www.sensiblesoccer.de/forum/index.php?topic=24757.msg139472#msg139472 ?

Right now, redesign can be done already, with DOS color palette, as that's hard-coded into the game.

Example for a new background:

Or do you mean re-arranging the menu buttons, and give them other colors?
That is also possible, as you can see in SWOS 16/17 and SWOS++.

If you have a good idea for changing the main SWOS menu, please post some concept art! Thanks! Always open for ideas!

OK, so you can only play around with colors and give a different background Pictures?

Not only!
Check again what I have written under the picture!
The menu can be rearranged! Buttons in different order, functions listed differently etc...

Please download 16/17 and check out SWOS++ and credits menu:

So, not possible to have a completly different look on menu? Everything have to be boxes that are square-cut (like it is in original menu graphic)?

Counter question: What do you want with a different menu? For what?

Just to have the option to have a more modern look (without destroying SWOS feeling) to give it a new fresh look.

Please do a concept art! Thanks.

Just don't forget: It's called a PORT! Not an entirely new game.

Will it be possible to add new divisions to the leagues or teams and  create new competitions like copa libertadores or current champions league, for example?

I have tried the port now with latest version in a window on my crt screen. Both the 60 fps and the 70 fps versions. I honestly can't feel any big difference between this and the dos box version, which is a good thing, however i need to test it fullscreen (which I normally use on dos box) at a later stage before I can make a complete comparison. But so far it is a very good job by Zlatko, thx for this man!

I actually enjoy the 70 fps test version more, but only because of the speed, despite it being an older and more buggy version. Passes still feel like pc which is not my favorite, but it is cool idea to test the hz and res perhaps at a later stage. Im all for a speed upgrade of the game but not a must.

It is cool with music change etc, but I am mostly focused on the gameplay and the compatibility and this already looks very promising.
