I wanna be in group B(eer)!

Micha, I'd join your ride!
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

If the date is for sure, we will join. No matter it is PC SWOS   :P

After ISSA 21 and best defender trophy at Sensi Days I don't want to hear your "PC SWOS excuse" anymore ;)

Hehe eventhough I might get better results with PC SWOS I prefer to play Amiga SWOA

@eifel admins: How many groups are you aiming for at this event? 2, 3 or 4? I see 20 players are signed up.

Probably 3. It will be a similar system like Serbian Open 2011.

what about 2 big groups but only one match ? like in prague 2008 or so ...

for me that would be ok and interesting, because one match could rise more surprises .... and you have more opponents :)

the only thing is, long breaks ...

other idea

1) 3 groups of (up to) 8 players with 2 matches
2a) 1 supergroup with best 8 players 1 match
2b) 1 middle group with next 8 players 1 match
2c) 1 looser group with rest players and 2 matches
3a) supergroup and middle group meet in KOs (last 16)

We will work out something that will offer enough fun and matches for everybody ;)

But probably 2 big groups with only one match against each other is no option.

I like the idea of a supergroup with best 6-8 players. I've never played that on PC but I find it exciting.

If you aim for knockouts with top 16, here is a bracket system for it:
http://www.printyourbrackets.com/fillable-brackets/16-seeded-fillable-single-elimination.jpg

If you need inspiration for supergroup & 2nd chance system check Nordic Open 2 out here:

Im sure it will be great regardless of the format. Looking forward to it next month. :)

I want to come. But I don't have really the money for a train ticket. Is there somebody living in the south a and will be driving on the A3 to the X-Mas Cup? I will pay for fuel and the effort, of course.
