Hi Synchronated well done on the database it looks impressive!  :)

I was just wondering how did you convert the 0-100 parameter for the player attributes to the swos format?
Thanks.  8)

I have a calculation sheet which, for each player, takes the target total number of skill points (which because of how SWOS skills work is determined by player's market value, with a small age modifier) and distributes them among the swos attributes using the ratio of those individual 0-100 values, in a way that is optimised for SWOS. The source attributes don't have to be 0-100, any linear scale would work without having to change the method, as they are all just relative to each other and to the total number of points (rather than being absolute values) and the total target sum comes from the market value.

The method has been tweaked slightly (actually, substantially overhauled) since the last update and so attributes should be distributed a bit better than last year.

(There are many stages to the calculation (dozens of cells per player), in order to ensure it hits the correct target in the correct way, meaning Excel cannot calculate all the players at once, so each team is calculated on its own before importing into SWOS. That's why I can't include the actual SWOS values on a data extract at this stage... only when they've all been imported)

Thanks zico, that will make checking the data much easier and quicker!

However, I've just found a substantial gap in my player data that means I will have to change the released files somewhat. So don't use the current files (including the full database) for much!

update: I've now filled the gaps and fixed the TEAM.008 file (there was nothing that affected Italy so TEAM.020 is fine). I will upload new extract in a while.

Here's the new data extract. There were some players missing who should've been present, is all.

Spanish league file, both divisions + non-league teams.
As always let me know if anything is amiss and it can be fixed before the full release.

Bit of an aside, here's the updated Classics league (replaces El Salvador) with new retired players (i.e. classics transfer activity!)

van Nistelrooy joins the Dreamers
Shevchenko joins Dynamo (obviously)
Ivan Cordoba joins the Reds
Ledley King joins the Leopards
Pippo Inzaghi joins the Tigers
Roberto Carlos joins the Rainbows

Some other players shuffle around to make way. If anyone else retired in the past year who would belong in this league, let me know (Nesta and Del Piero are still playing!)

Zenit St.Petersburg is missing in the Russian file, I think, otherwise impressive  ;D

It really shouldn't be. It's the last team in the data (I think) and last in alphabetical order in the in-game Russian league. I've tested it and played with them. If it's not there for you maybe there is another problem?

I'm not sure Sync. They aren't in the data anyway, I checked it.
