Friendly League Goes Career Mode, 2nd edition

The New Zealand Mission

What it's all about?
You know, there are always times when you join the chat and there is nobody
available for playing a friendly/ooo, or you are stuck in competition
deadlines and your league opponents don't show up. But you are really willing
to play some SWOS. FLGCM is THE opportunity for you to "compete" with friends
together, not against, in the world of soccer.
All you have to do is go to the FLGCM topic and download the latest car-file attached.
Then you play a row of 5, 10 or 15 matches, save the career and attach it again.
The next player can go on...

Rules
- When you download and play the career you have to post, so everyone knows it and waits for the next attachment from you;
- Min. 5 matches, max. 15 matches;
- You can use any custom tactics you like;
- Job offers have to be "considered";
- "See result" is forbidden, all games have to be played;
- Save/Load cheat is forbidden!;
- You are allowed to buy/sell players, but never bring the club in debth!;
- Only post and download the career file when you have time to play and straight attach file again afterwards!;
- Only 1 player purchase or selling per gaming-session allowed;
- It's not allowed to sell purchased players from other coaches again;
- If we accept another job we have to leave the old squad in perfect order!;
- Tag Team allowed both players download file, and play online together. 1 half of a match each!

The career must go on...

So we start the 2nd edition of FLGCM - The New Zealand Mission!

Some assumptions for this edition:

- Mr. Friendly League decided to become a Kiwi, so he is now of NZL nationality.

Kiwi Football:

- We will try to get to coach New Zealnd national team as soon as possible and try to conquer world with some Haka dancing, errrmmm, I meant great football tactics...

Haka Dance:

- Mr. Friendly League decided that before coaching NEW Zealand he practice some football coaching in the OLD Zealand (actually Zeeland, Holland).
As there is no team from the province of Zeeland in SWOS (prove me wrong if there is...) he applied to the near city of Rotterdam, and was given Feyenoord to coach.
Some good reasons for choosing Feyenoord:
1. the above - Rotterdam is close to "Old" Zeeland (ideological reason)
2. good team - we will just win everything and get that NZL proposal right away (practical reason)
3. there is Henka Larsson on the roster!!! (personal reaon)

Henka!

So, we just crush the opponents and get this All Blacks football section as soon as possible!!!

I played the opening 5 games, see attached.

The career goes on!

There has only been one professional football team from Zeeland, namely VC Vlissingen (in their final professional season they were renamed VCV Zeeland). They only played two seasons in the Dutch second league, though they still play in the amateur leagues. Feyenoord's a good choice seeing as I live a quarter of an hour's drive from the stadium :D.

Career file attached.. there were some interesting moments - report soon:)

EDIT:
OK. It wasn't as easy as it seemed looking at Xflea's scores:)
Starting with Espanyol who defended well and then playing derby against Sparta (lots of sliding but no injuries, luckily) - good games to get players known.

Of course in there is a one star in the team --> Henrik Header Larsson

Ed de Goey did his best - here catching (!) the ball shot from the 5th meter

But after won derby he partied too much and let the ball out of his hands straight into legs of Bosman (the only lost goal)

Anyway - it wasn't that bad start with FLGCM :)

And a puzzle for the end - FInd Henrik Larsson on this picture :) First player to upload a picture with correct answer gets an offline beer :)

Ok, my first impressions were shocking... in either way!
Firstly I discovered that no talents have been scouted so far.
Secondly, I thought Larsson was the main man to get all the glory...
...but thirdly Mr. Vos scored 11 (!!!!) in my first match...WHOOOOT!!!!
...and straight after that match he was bought by Ajax, and we really ripped their money off!!!!!  :o :o :o LOL!

But see yourself:

"Hey, you guys want to buy the 11-goal-man?! THAT WILL BE EXPENSIVE....!!!"

...and fifthly, Larsson got injured...  >:(

PSV is waiting!

Enjoy!  ;D

wtf!!!  :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
 ;D
no 4, our defender Klinker (surinam), was a reserve player for many matches. after the 3-2 thriller vs ajax (where he did some spectacular and important safeties), he suddenly had a value of 180 k! crazy...
must be a mega talent. ayree and wijs developed well too!

I sold some players, won all matches and go to sleep now! hf

oh, this was my 500. post! jubiläum!!! ;)

8 games less to our NZL coaching :)

We've got our first job offer - from PSV, which is a bit disappointment in the leage, far behind the top 4 (to be exact, Feyenoord and other "top" 3).

Henka is healthy again and doing his job :)

A question to our money-makers - what is this "1" under "D" column in the table? ^^

BTW: When leaving Feyenoord we have to be careful not to sink Wynton in the reserve...

Career goes on!

One more proposal for rules:

AFTER we get to coach NZL - maybe one session (per player or tag-team) should be the whole season... it's less than 15 games...
