bit confused about the values of the players if using the SwoEditor1.3

do i go off the € value on the transfermarket.de or use the £ values that i'm used to then generate the skills?

PS: Always remember: Do not change number of teams in the leagues. Keep original 96/97 structure!

Hi guys, I haven't read through the entire topic yet but I have some remarks on the Transfermarkt->SWOS conversion table you're using. Market values are not only linked to overall level but also to age: older players have a lower market value and younger players have a higher market value. In order to counter this I have made a more realistic conversion table in excel. If anyone wants to have a look at this excel file you can contact me by email on timstaes@telenet.be

As I am quite new to this forum (although a veteran SWOS player/editor) let me introduce myself: My name is Tim, I'm 39 years old and I've been working for EA Sports as player database editor ever since FIFA06. I have always been a SWOS fan and I update several leagues for personal use every year.

I'm willing to sign up for the Belgian league and any league you are still missing editors for (if I can spare the time). Actually I already was planning a full 16/17 update before I visited your forum due to the 20th anniversary anyway :-)

Maybe the solution could be use any overall skillvalue from another game/db. It should be correlated better with skills as the market value (because of age).

In SWOS (for pixelplayers and for players like us) there is no such thing as ageing a SWOS player is ageless.

Please post a league you are interested in taking care of. Belgium isn't free anymore...

To make you understand:
We kept updating rules as simple as possible, so that everyone will be able to help & update teams. There will be no changes to that now.
If someone thinks a player is a little undervalued because of age, please feel free to adjust price in a realistic/balanced sense and post a remark about it, when team file is finished.
Don't bother too much with that.

Each team file will be reviewed anyway, by Marin, xflea and me.

Great news guys!

I was so happy when I saw this topic, It's great idea for 20th anniversary of last official swos.

I could help with Croatian league and natioanl team but sadly, I have so litlle time because of my work... I'm so sad that I can't help, I have update my home Croatian laegue every year from 2000 to 2010, and last season as well, and Swos is big part of my childhood.

Good luck to all and I can't wait to play swos 16/17!
