SWOS 18/19
« on: 16 May 2018, 01:15:29 »
Is there any plan to do the upcoming 18/19 season?

I understand that 17/18 was discussed and/or started but wasn't completed?

I wasn't a part of the 16/17 update but I'm more than willing to participate in a new season update, I just need to read all the editing resources.

I am willing to participate too.
We need some level of organization in the way that playaveli did for 16/17 update. Also if we are not going to do everything as it is a lot of work (we could use uefa ranking of the leagues to determine priority for the people that dont care which leagues they are updating... similar for south america)
Someone should be responsible to check updates done by the people to see if updates are not crashing the career (that they have correct number of teams comparing to the original swos etc) .
Rules should be agreed upfront if we want to go more serious, if not then we can do the same like for 17/18 which was more unstructured effort

Depending on the organization and overall quality, I'd might contribute.
For a project, I'll wait and go for SWOS 2020, taking over the helm if there is interest. (Rules and guidelines are already in process)

You might have a point there, maybe focus on SWOS 2020 if it goes forward.

2020 sounds fine by me. Or wait for the 25th anniversary.
