The SWOS Manager Version 2 is now available.

What is SWOS Manager?
SWOS Manager is a .NET/WindowsForms based Manager game that allows you to play with Sensible World of Soccer 96/97 (PC).
With the included Editor you can create your own Clubs, Leagues and Countries.
International Cups like Champions Cup will be automatically generated.

How do you missed Version 1?
You missed Version 1 cos that Version were just released in german.
Now i took the time to translate it and fix a lot of bugs.

What did i need for the SWOS Manager?
- Windows XP (all other OS are not tested)
- .NET Framework 3.5
- optional SWOS Total Pack
- optional WinUAE with SWOS

Well now, this is excellent. A really nice surprise! I have a few small questions.
Are there international club competitions (Champions Cup etc.) in all continents? So even if you created 12 Asian leagues (for example) it would accomodate them beyond just domestic competitions? How much buying and selling do the other teams do? Would the game generate entirely fictional players of appropriate levels/nationalities/names if you just created the clubs themselves? Can you change the start year?
If these are in the FAQ, punch me, I don t have it to hand at the moment! :)

Are there international club competitions (Champions Cup etc.) in all continents?

Yes, you need at least 2 countries for international competition for each continent.
Based on the old UEFA Rules (more or less).

So even if you created 12 Asian leagues (for example) it would accomodate them beyond just domestic competitions?

Yes, at start the clubs for each International Cup will be choosen by their strength, later on they are choosen by Championship, Cup win or position in league.
Same for the national Cups.

How much buying and selling do the other teams do?

Thats random generated and doesnt really follow any logic (though it might be unlogic sometimes).
But most players on Market will be sold to clubs with a lower strength.

Would the game generate entirely fictional players of appropriate levels/nationalities/names if you just created the clubs themselves?

No, you need at least 100 players to use the generate Footballer option.
The player is generated based on the strength of the club (when no footballer exist it use value between 1 and 100). the nationality is set to standard value.
The name is selected random as well.

Can you change the start year?

Something i thought about as well. It would be easy to put in.
I think the combination with Amiga SWOS would be easy, but theres a problem with the save disk.
