Hi Fincad,

that s excellent mate. how did you find out these positions?

Hello!
Simpliest way is sometimes the best way, so just trying enough (hit and misses).
I have only tested and also played it with amiga, but i think it will also work on pcs .car files.

Hi!
I think it was. Cannot confirm it until the evening. Its not a real career, test version about 20season limit etc. thing. Just picked that league, cause
it didnt have so many teams and one season ends quickers.

Fincad

pS. I had totalpack on my work pc, so team is tarxien rainbows, confirmed that one.

great stuff, just wanted to check. i m pretty sure that the locations are the same as I ve compared my PC save file to the one you sent and the locations are there/thereabouts so it should be a little easier for me to find all the locations to transfer the changes i currently have for the PC game to the Amiga save game.

My home is finally online so i ll be able to upload what i have at the moment (only works with the PC version/PC Total Pack so far).

I don t suppose you know what transfer budget you had do you?

Hi!
yes, the locations are not exactly the same, but its like couple of bytes before or after pc/amiga .car file locations.
In that test.car file my current moneysitutiation is 1 060 487

In pc version, i think that removing 20season limiter by hexediting .car file is not absolutely necessary, cause you can remove the 20 season limit by hexediting sws.exe file.

In the file called save.adf ! Use windows search for *.adf ! To open adf files you need to install a shell extension called adf-view or adf-opus:
www.viksoe.dk/adfview/
adfopus.sourceforge.net/

Hi!
After opening amigatotalpack, choose normal offlinemode, there in tab called tool and under it save disk manager tool. There you can find your savedisk and see whats in there. Also you can check out those backup disk .

Physically amigatotalpack .car files are located (f.e.) in installed folder

C:\Program Files\Amiga SWOS-Total Pack\winuae\disks\save.adf

there is that s.c active savedisk and those backup disks are located in installed f.e in folder

C:\Program Files\Amiga SWOS-Total Pack\folder\backup

folders 1-10.

Like playa said, you will need adf viewer installed to see those .car files in those folder.

Cheers

Fincad

PS-- I have just istalled adfviewer to see the .car files and then edited them with normal hex editor like mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/
