OK, Cameroon (Bobbiebobras) vs South Africa (Rock and Roll)
The host nation kicked off their campaign in an all-African encounter.
A close first half in which Cameroon had more possession and the better chances but couldn t convert them into goals.
South Africa were happy, but their fans demanded more.
The half-time oranges really spurred the hosts into action.
The second half kicked off with a quick attack from the Bafana Bafana, followed by an excellent counter attack.
Eto o showed his true class and scored the opening goal for Cameroon.
The Indomitable Lions roared into action and Nkong grabbed a quick second and South Africa looked doomed.
Just when the twelfth man was needed, the crowd got behind their team. The stadium was filled with the
mosquito like droning of 50 thousand vuvuzela s and Nkosi pulled a goal back from quick range with half an hour to play.
For seventeen minutes the hosts believed they could still salvage a point, but the Lions bit back.
Emana had the perfect finish to a perfect attack and the gap was back to two.
The Bafana-belief left the stadium and Eto o proved why he was the best player on the pitch in grabbing two late goals to
give Cameroon a comfortable 5-1 win. Eto o also got a beautiful yellow card which would have scored well in the Unfriendly League,
and, as expected, he was awarded a fine bottle of South African wine for being the man of the match. A first step in his quest for
the Golden Boot?
Can South Africa bounce back from this deception to still grab a place in the next round? We ll see .

south africa (rock) vs. cote d ivoire (bomb)
0 - 6
as we both forgot to press print in the right moment, we had to repeat...
so it was even a bit higher in second try. sry for this!
anyway, the result speaks for itself.
