Up for me.

Fingers you see, well even when I used the joystick it was hard to see when playing down field AND the cross headers are easier to score upfield.

I like up.
Maybe because you can see the ball flying into the net in a better way than downwards, I don t know.

This discussion is in the NHL series as well btw.. And they decided to scrap the downwards in the single player mode... which is really weird (especially since it is there a two player mode which you can t train this way)...

I remember reading research btw in the 80 s that at Pong the person on the left has an advantage..
