This topic was only about a long term strategy to get about 40 people participating in Sensi Days and do smaller local events around the time of August or elsewhen in the year.

This mission has been completed in its entirty!

Wrowlaw-Open and Aalborg-Cup only happened because people have met on ss.de and used it as a platform to communicate. Do you think Pallister and Djowger would have got to known each other on an anonymous porno page (don t find any other shocking example) :D ? ;) I don t think so, mate...

And that platform is our work! And they will get any support from us they will need.

And get away from that thought that we decide what s official and what s not...non-sense and non-existant! Do we tell Pallister how he should organize his cup? Do we force Enbino to use custom tactics in Sensistanbul? Man, we re just the platform for them to have their personal style of tournament.
And like Pallister organizes his cup in the way he likes Redhair and me do it with the Sensible Days (and also the online leagues organized by us). I do not see the word official anywhere...
It s always up to each individual organizer. We are only a platform... and we would like to use our own created platform as well, if you allow us!

just a thought.

with new SWOS to be released for Windows Vista based platforms, and with it emulating Amiga gameplay, will the next year s SensiDays be still played in two categories? Will good old PC version 96/97 stay as a competition game of choice?

heh, i wonder if my favourite will just fade away as an unwanted antic :)

I m sure that SWOS 96/97 will stay. Think of the needed modern PCs with Vista installed, we won t have them for Sensidays.

I think the new PCs won t be a problem... most people have them. But no old one with Win95.
And imagine...controller issues will all be solved then with USB device.

I think SWOS07 for PC is a chance to unite all SWOS players from all systems.

Even the ISSA, with all their PC-SWOS tradition will start to play it. And remember, it s Amiga gameplay.

SWOS07 = SWOS96/97....

As long as there are people playing it, there will be a place for it on Sensi Days. No worries! ;)
