Export player databse to Excel? was created by adalsgaard
I m curious to know if it s possible to export the player database to MS Excel?

I m playing the initial Amiga version of SWOS (season 94/95, NOT the 1.1 version) and the SWOEditorS ver 1.3.0 is perfect for editing teams, however I really miss an export function (to a CSV file, for example).

Any advice on how to create an Excel version of the player database?

On the above topic i posed the following question to Synchronated on 20/03/11:
what are the chances of getting an XLS of the current 1011 update database?
and more importantly, future updates?

His reply sounds promising but tricky:
future updates: very likely, since they will come from a spreadsheet. Although calculating all the attributes at once (as opposed to club by club) may be tricky. 1011 - it doesn t exist as a sheet or even 2 or 3. Someone would have to convert the data from the swos files. This has been done before but i can t do it.

Export player database to Excel is possible too in SWSEDT 2.1.4a or 2.2.0 ( www.atomicgroup.tk/download ). Naturally Amiga Folder Data should be unpacked in ProPack before that.
