Amiga to beamer ?

We played on real Amiga 1200s, with Old School monitors/TVs. We recorded the games using the Dazzle (vipdictionary.com/img/DazzleVideoCreatorPlatinumHardware1.jpg) connected to a laptop pc. Software wise we used dazzle driver + Open Broadcaster Software. (obsproject.com/)
The quality is not the best as you can see in the video, but it is ok. The Amiga 1200 has 3 video outputs (1.bp.blogspot.com/-HW6vGKeStjo/TnO4JZ5az...6%252C+13+51+56.jpeg). We used the yellow for recording, and the wide video port for the monitor. The last is for tv cables, usually even worse.

You mention that the A1200 has 3 video outputs, is this correct ? WikiPedia says the A1200 has :
Analog RGB video out (DB-23M)
Composite video out (RCA)
RF audio/video out (RCA)

In the photo you supplied, which is which ?

How do you get the crowd camera merged with the game screen? Does Open Broadcaster Software do this ?

finally, does the Dazzle feed the beamer ?

The wide port (the one to the left) is the Analog RGB video out (DB-23M). We use this port for Amiga monitor or Small tv through scart connection.
The middle one (yellow) is the Composite video out (RCA). We use this to connect to the Dazzle or a Beamer. If you need both at the same time you need a composite splitter such as this one: img.dxcdn.com/productimages/sku_2711_3.jpg
The RF audio/video out (RCA) is the one to the right on the first mentioned picture. You can use an antenna cable to connect to tv, but the quality is the worst of the 3 options.

For the crowd camera, we simply used the built-in laptop camera, an external camera would have been better for sure. OBS is very simple to use. You you just add the elements you want, and position them they way you want. There is even a preview so you can try different settings. You can stream, and record to file at the same time. And the files are not that big if you use the standard file settings.

Btw. you can use every recorder out there as long as it has the composite connection, it is not a must that it is a dazzle.
