Yep, in my case I keep one key pressed when I press its opposite in some effects.
Perhaps we have to change or maybe it is not necessary the effort, that is the reason why it is worthy to know. It is important, as I said, at least for us. I'm pretty sure other players will have at least one thought about it too.

I tend to think real Amigas act exactly the same as Winuae! Otherwise the big keyboard guns (Coolio, Blazej and others... assura & cinek etc) would have noticed it or mentioned it years ago.
If you win ASL1 and Sensible Days Amiga tournament on keypad/keyboard, and you do not notice a difference, I don't think there is one.

There are 2 crucial points in this question about prevalent keys:

in pc, keyboard and keypad works different, and in MIST I realized that keypad works even different to both in pc, as I hope it was noticed reading our posts. Seeing that Crom's Style is very influencied by this, we asked for help in this matter because we don't have amigas.

The second point is that we asumed that someone who had pc and keypad, only had to spend few minutes to check. then, we would find the community help.

If you send me a keypad, I can test it...

If you send me an Amiga I can do it

But seriously, the Amiga I took from my parent's loft has now been sent off for re-capping, hopefully in a few weeks I can test this for you (taking apart a joystick and pressing the micoswitches manually is no big deal for me, I've taken apart many joysticks to repair them in the past).
