I just seen that there is a radar option under development, which is just an amazing feat of engineering:

Look for the video posted by Starwindz. I'm astounded by this, so cool, and it is truly a magnificent piece of work these guys are doing. Hope it gets into an update in the future, but now it's going to make me think of some out-there ideas now I see what these gentlemen are capable of
