Skipping the Launcher and Using DLC Issues

Hi everyone, I hope this hasn't already been covered (apologies if so), but I'm having issues running the game without the launcher while still using DLC. 

I'm playing SWOS 2020 on Steam Deck, and I got it running with the help of this thread: www.sensiblesoccer.de/forum/swos-2020/27557-steamdeck-setup

However, what I really wanted was to be able to play it without having to use the launcher, which I've largely done by directing Bottles (the Linux software used for running Windows programs) to swos-port-Release.exe rather than GameLauncher.exe. 

Finally, using launch options in Steam as detailed in the following thread, I have it working great:

The only issue I'm having now is that the small amount of DLC I had set up when using the launcher isn't present when I run the game using swos-port-Release.exe. I assume this is because the launcher does some fancy shenanigans that are skipped when I bypass it and go straight to swos-port-Release.exe. 

I'm not fussed about most DLC. All I'm really looking to do is run the game with the 96/97 season DLC I downloaded, but the default database that came with my GOG SWOS 96/97 purchase would also be fine. 

Is there a way to do this, or is DLC use limited to playing using the launcher?
