SWOS 96/97 Mod 3.0.1: Classic careers from Europe 1984-85, and the Grande Torino

Do you want to take a club of 1984-85 Europe, from Platini's Juventus and European champions Liverpool down to the Icelandic league, and play a whole career through the leagues, national cups and European cups of the time? Now you can!

EUROPE 1984-85 (Career > CLASSIC CAREERS > EUROPE 1984-85)

• 32 European countries, 949 clubs, real squads from DaniSwos's database
• leagues in the 1983-84 order, with promotion and relegation (England with 4 divisions, Scotland with 3)
• the real 1984-85 national cups of 15 countries (FA Cup with non-league clubs, DFB-Pokal, Coppa Italia, Copa del Rey...)
• European cups as they were: Champions' Cup 32, Cup Winners' Cup 32, UEFA Cup 64, real first-round ties
• country names in the game's language

SERIE A 1947-48 (Season > CLASSIC SEASONS > ITALY 1947-48)

• the Grande Torino's season: 21 clubs (one rests each round), 2 points per win, 4 relegated
• real squads, coaches and kits, foreign players with their real nationality
• plus the DDR 1988-89 recalibrated on the real table

IN EVERY CAREER

• no same-country ties in the first two rounds of the European cups, as in the UEFA rule of the time
• from the second season on, the first round of the Cup Winners' Cup and of the UEFA Cup is drawn
• fixed: a Champions' Cup winner that played the Intercontinental ended up in the Cup Winners' Cup
• smarter automatic kit choice and a new KITS button in the pre-match screen

Thanks to DaniSwos for the 1984-85 database, the report on same-country ties and the kit analysis.
Thanks to FrancescoManetti82 and Gorzo (SWOS United) for Torino from their SWOS 2020 1900s Retro Pack.
Many 1984-85 coaches are still missing: if you know them, add them (packs/europe-1984-85 on GitHub) and send them to us!
Coming in 3.1: the national teams of the time, with Mexico '86 and Euro '88.

The patcher upgrades any earlier version and never touches your saves:
