saved positions problem

saved positions problem was created by Goal Scoring Super* Hero
Hi All, spent a while playing half a season of Sensible World of soccer yesterday, and decided to save my position. After testing, it loaded fine....yesterday!!!

This morning I get the message COMPETITION FILE IS OLD VERSION and my saved position will not load.......

Any ideas what has happened, or how I can overcome this problem?

Real Amiga? 500, 600 or 1200? Winuae? What version of SWOS? 95/96 or 96/97?

Sorry, that might be useful! Its the original 1994 version on a 500+

It`s worked on that machine with no problems before, albeit many years ago now.

Have you started a newer SWOS version the other day? Maybe the 96/97 version?

Have you started a newer SWOS version the other day? Maybe the 96/97 version?


I gave up with the original game, and have since restarted using the update disk which was given away with ONE magazine (may 1995) and I started all over again. Saved game positions worked fine, but after tryinbg to continue the second season earlier on today, it now tells me the game was saved under a different SWOS version - which it wasn`t!!!!!???????

I am using Winuae and i cant do any saves. How can i do that? and how can i use an usb joystick with winuae?

Plug in USB joystick!

Go to: Game I/O Ports

Choose: Port 1 = Joystick 0 (your USB device)

well now i feel like a dummy thanx anyway yesterday i played my first game online then never again. every time when i tried to launch kaillera its just giving me an error i dunno wat to do do u have any idea?
