Longtime since ive played SWOS and it was on my m8`s Amiga many many years ago ...
ive been reading about and from what ive read the Amiga`s one was the better of the lot,
can you please tell me which is the BEST SWOS for my PC (XP) and a xbox 360 controller on it to...

Amiga version is the best! You can download it here to run it under Windows XP : files.sensiblesoccer.de/Setup_ASWOS.exe
You can also play online with this version, join #sensible @ Quakenet to meet players.

For updates, including a .hdf file that can be used with Amiga Online package, check out Synchronated s updates here:

Scroll down and look for UPDATED .HDF FILE (31 DEC 2007) FOR USE WITH AMIGA SWOS ONLINE v1.02

Just a note, if you replace that HDF file you won t be able to play online! Unless your opponent has the same exact HDF file of course.
So if you plan to play online better have 2 installs of SWOS on your disk. One with original data to play online and the other with the replaced HDF to play offline with 07-08 season data.
