Sensible Days 2007 will go down in history, there were great tournaments in the past, like WST, ISSA or Sensi-Days, but this time it is like Woodstock of SWOS . It will be the first time with the biggest offline and online legends. The level will be higher than never before. There is no real big favorite this time.

I will try to present the biggest favorites here:

GREG, Belgium
26 games 24 wins, 0 draws, 2 defeats (Asboy, Rasmus)

For me a player in one row with the incrediblest talents in the history of SWOS, together with Rasmus, Mlata and of course Divin-Codino. A PC specialist, no online player yet.
Crazy tactic, unspectacular and effective!

Winner of Sensible Days 2004

PLAYAVELI, Germany
98 games 81 wins, 6 draws, 11 defeats

The biggest SWOS legend on ss.de in history, very strong defensive and killer offence, as he showed over the years on every system we had, on SEGA, AMIGA and of course PC, not only online, offline as well! Maybe the best tactic, as many players tried to copy. And he is in fact a player who comes from the PC, he is no Amiga specialist, but he has a huge online experience! Nearly no weak points and full of skills. Allrounder!

Winner of Sensible Days 2005 and ISSA 16 (Den Bedste)

MARIN PARUSHEV, Bulgaria
18 games 15 wins, 2 draws, 1 defeat

The hardest fighter I know. Additionally a real PC player, but has huge Amiga online experiences and he showed that he is able to beat everyone! It will be very interesting how he will profit of it at the PC tournament. One of the red-hot favorites because of this facts!

Bulgarian Champion 2005

RASMUS,

Maybe the biggest name of the ISSA. Playing standard Attack with a pressure-focussed style he is a real SWOS monster. Goalscoringsuperstarhero... Has one particular move some people will be surprised by. Without online experience still among the possible semifinalists. And don t expect his defence to be weak due to his tactic. Maybe he is not the best defender by pure skills... but to score goals against him you gotta be at least in his half which is tough enough.

Winner of various ISSA tournaments

REDHAIR,

Nearly no words needed to describe his skills. Brought up by the Amiga version he has a destinct talent for defending any kind of attacks, in the air and on the floor. On the PC his defense and heading skills (have you ever touched that ball?) work even better. Be sure, his goal kick is a good chance for him to score.
On a good day nearly unbeatable, a real tournament player. If you re 0-1 down against him say goodbye.

Winner of Sensible Days 2006

PETER,

ISSA player with the highest level of skills (pure technical) on all areas. Playing with a customized Attack his style is infact a bit similar to Coolio_Jack (same age, btw). Heading, finishing, creativity, to name his best skills, he is the current No.1 of the ISSA ranking and therefore one of the favorites.
Special talent to score spectacular goals.

Winner of various ISSA tournaments

M.C.T.,

Maybe the most titled player ever from the old WST events in Yugoslavia. Judging his style from the latest replays he seems to be very balanced from defense to attack with a good working custom tactic. Great shot-blocking with headers in defense, very effective attacks with a Gepard-style finishing.
His name alone makes him a favorite for the title. Expected to be in the semis.

Winner of various WST/Ex-YU events

JUNIOR,

ISSA s chairman comes with a modified 3-5-2 and can be a very effective finisher (in the tradition of Gepard and Patigoal). Despite him operating mostly through the middle of the park don t expect him to be a one-move-player. If it s needed he has enough variations in his game to find an answer to what his opponent is doing. Great ball winning skills (the famous Parkinson style). Seems to be quite calm in big matches (experience in offline KO rounds).

Winner of ISSA XV

M4RK,

The Dutchman showed his PC potential on the Days 06 where he lost to Redhair in the semis with only 1 goal on agg. (0-0, 0-1)! Although playing with a standard tactic (4-man defense) he has a great player-movement and blocking skills (heading and tackling). To score against him you gotta be very patient and at the same time lucky that he hasn t already scored. Definately not a player to underestimate. Takes advantage of approx. 1500 online (Amiga) matches...

Runner Up - Holland Cup 2006

INSANE,

He is a true Sensible Days veteran (most games played, 04 - 06) and he doesn t care who his opponent is. Playing with a modified 4-4-2 to make pressure on all areas he can win against anybody at any time. Being the only player to beat both Playaveli and Redhair on the last year s tournament (group stage) he was eventually kicked out in the semis. Be alerted or you ll find yourself a few goals down. Very uncomfortable player to play against. His weakness is maybe a lack of stamina when the tournament lasts longer and longer (KO rounds).

Sensible Days - Record player

OLI O.,

Known as one of Germany s PC SWOS legends he has attended all prior Sensible Days (+ DST) and gathered international experience on recent events in Denmark. Being user number 10 of ss.de he truely lives up to this number in his style. A real playmaker who loves the beauty of playmaker-passes. His modified 4-4-2 with deep attackers to pick up his wide curlers from the midfield helps him to outplay even massive defense walls.
He was a bit unlucky in the latest KO-rounds of big events. Don t even think about to underrate him.

Offline legend and pioneer of SWOS-travelling

LUCAA83,

The best Italian SWOS player comes from Amiga-tradition and perfected the gameplay of his modified 4-2-4. As a distance-shot specialist never ever let him shoot from anywhere. Furhtermore he plays a fine and balanced style with a very strong defense. But if you try to reduce this Italian SWOS freak to Catenaccio you will be really surprised how deadly his attack is. Finishing moves like in Mortal Kombat!

One of the greatest Online-players ever

DJOWGER,

Djowger is a bit like the prototype of a very strong PC player combining his skills with priceless online-Amiga experience. Being just as strong as his Danish comrads from the ISSA don t even think about to underestimate him. He is a good allrounder with balanced skills in all areas. On a good day he is able to beat anyone. Gathered enough Offline-experience to make an impact this year for sure.

Secret favorite

PALLISTER,

People, be alerted. Here comes a SWOS veteran who found his old love of playing again only last year. But his progress seems to be never ending. Latest station: Top10 online ranking. But what makes him so special? Of course, the ability and the will to learn. Once you score a nice goal against him, be carefull not to concede it against him in the next match. This dude never gives up and will hunt you down the pitch even if he s 0-3 down (which very rarly happens).

Winner of various regional SWOS-events

GEO,

Rumoured to be the best SWOS player from Czech Republic he has successfully competed in various national events and made an impact on the WST 2004 where he was eventually kicked out in the Quaterfinal by later champion Koja. Watching the replay file his performance looks still nice today although it was 3 years ago. Very secure and agile in ball-possession he seemed to have some problems in defending fast and deadly counter attacks. Maybe he has improved his defence by now. Who knows... Better not underestimate him.

Winner of various offline events in Czech Rep.

...to be continued!

My vote goes to the topic starter Redhair :) ... Reasons: Title defender, and a style which works even better on PC than on Amiga.
I hate him on the PC...

The line-up of stars for the PC tournament is unbelievable.
The one who wins this event will be the undoubtly best PC SWOS player ever.

I cannot wait to play against all of them...

Personal aim: Semifinal

Voted for Marin...

That is a good vote. Marin is a brought-up PC player with the needed online experience.

I bet that he will be (at least) in the semis.
Other possible semifinalist: Greg, Rasmus and a surprise player from the online stars.

My vote goes to Rasmus or Peter. Unfortunately, I could only give one vote and chose Rasmus.

I do think that Peter has become just as much an ISSA legend as Rasmus. He has won five times and have proved time and again that he has no intentions of backing down from his no. 1 ranking on the ISSA chart.
