New to site looking for starter help was created by barfly14
Hi all
New to site and looking forward to playing. But before I do I want to make sure I have everything I need.
I will be playing on my laptop and I m thinking of buying this:
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lioncast-Arcade-Fight...b0fff96115%7Ciid%3A1 _trksid=p2481888.c100651.m4497
as it is similar to what i used for SWOS back in the day on my Amiga.
It is USB. Will it be just plug in and I can play or do I need anything else?
Or does anyone else have a better arcade joystick they would recommend?
Thanks

Hi Barfly,
the arcade stick is looking good. If you want to play online this will work for you. You can use only fire Button 1 in the game. So if this stick isn t programmable you must use Fire Button1. But as I understood, this stick is programmable, so you may use the Fire Button for SWOS you like.
Note that this stick won t work if you want to play offline tournaments.
I m in progress to test the USB to 9pin Adapter from ikonsgr74 on Ebay.
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Usb-Joystick-Gamepad-...e=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT _trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
I will report if it works using USB sticks on Amiga 9pin.
Have fun playing SWOS.
Best
