I m not in favour of having bonus points for online ranking as you would end up losing these points in the coming matches anyway, since added points does not show your ranking accurately.

To have a really clean ranking, we should all start from 0 again, but we would kill a lot of history like that.

I don t know if ranking works with history but I think whole history should be replaced, by say the history of the last 50 matches, it would show player s ranking position much more accuracy and you can see whether he has improved or still the same.
