FIFA Ballon d'Or 2010 & 2011 betting shop

Iniesta - Spanish League Champion with Barcelona, World Champion with Spain, golden goal in World Cup Final;

Messi - Spanish League Champion with Barcelona, Golden Shoe winner;

Sneijder - 4 titles with Inter, 2nd place on World Cup with Holland, Champions League best midfielder;

Xavi - Spanish League Champion with Barcelona, World Champion with Spain.


Normally Golden Ball goes to World Champion in the World Cup year...

I really would like Xavi to win this year (most probably his last chance), so my bet is:
1. Xavi
2. Sneijder
3. Messi

Sneijder Forlan lost their form after World Cup, can t see them getting the award.

Business as usual for Messi would let him win easily if it wasn t for World Cup.

Guess it s gonna be between Xavi Iniesta. Hope Iniesta wins for 2 reasons. He s a pleasure to watch and he s got a gift of scoring ultra important goals.

The only reason I can think of for the decision is that Xavi Iniesta are very similar players so they stole each other points. Obviously Messi is the best player at the planet at the moment but he hasn t achieved as much as his Barcelona team mates.

so this FIFA Ballon d Or is going to be a messi-or-ronaldo competition...?
