Really haven t thought that far ahead in much detail at all. Just focusing on finishing the game with programmer art for now!

I m using SDL for all the low level stuff to keep it cross platform. Other than that it s just plain old C++.

With the World Cup n all, I ve got the Rugby bug again, how bout a rugby game using the senseless engine?

I absolutely loved World Class Rugby on the Amiga. Still one of the top 10 games of all time for me!

haha it s your call, but I think the folks here would probably support a footie game a bit more readily that a rugby game!

I had World Class Rugby on the Spectrum and you re right, it was ace. I don t think I ve enjoyed a rugby game as much since - I played Rugby League Live 3 on the Xbox One last week and it was pretty shocking. I don t know developers don t invest more time in playability and less in all the bells and whistles, at least to start with.

I loved the tactical aspect of the Rugby, especially in 2 player. Infuriating your buddy by kicking perfectly into touch and making him defend his 5 yard line, or relentlessly nailing penalty kicks from everywhere to nullify the tries of a better team.

Ah cool, yeahman I d definitely support a rugby game. I don t think there s ever been a rugby game in the Sensi mould before, sounds good. I guess there wouldn t be quite as much depth in terms of a SWOS-like career mode, but having 2v2 with a bunch of mates would be great fun.

There was a game called Rugby World Cup that came out around the same time as World Class Rugby but got much more coverage in the magazines. I think it looked a bit more like sense, but played like shit!
