Re: Central Midfielders

Hi all,

I have been playing around with the tactics, and found that a player such as Ivan De La Pena (attacking midfielder) has a green tick if he plays in a more attacking position. I have Redondo playing as a defensive midfielder. However whenever I swap the two players, De La Pena always gets a green tick on the formation page, even though when I m editing the tactic, it has a red cross instead. Can anybody explain this?
I m looking for somebody who could play with a green tick in the attacking midfield position. What are the best attributes to have for this?

Central midfielders in this game are a bit funny.

I generally like to play an edited 4-4-2 with a centre back playing as a defensive midfielder and a striker who can pass playing as the attacking midfielder.

Even in the default 4-4-2 tactic you will get big green ticks for using centre backs in defensive midfield. And I play with the defensive midfielder a little closer to the centre backs than that.
