Re: PC and SWOS

Amiga Swos Total and PC Swos Total are too slow, the audio and graphic is interupting every second.

I have a netbook toshiba nb510 with win7.

I had tried that with the patch but the problem exists, game speed increase a little bit... but still slow motion

@Playaveli: I m using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on computer from 2011 and do not have any problem with online SWOS or PC version under DosBOX. I do not play too oft, but when I tested serveral times, had no problem with it. Important thing is have updated system, because on some configuration unupdated, clean Windows 7 on some PC like I read on IRC, can work too slow with online SWOS (low FPS etc). But as far as I remember people always have problem on non desktop computers with online Amiga SWOS, no matter what OS they have installed. Sorry for my English.

ok i cannot install the full cd version.

What can i do i will only play Career Mode offline ?

ok i will try the amiga total after my turkey holiday on my desktop and for my netbook i will try the full cd version with dosbox... thx for the help

OK now im sure the netbook is too weak...

Also in DOSBOX the game is very slow, i have installed it and i´m playing it over the image with Daemon Tools.

- installed and configured the sound midi digi and disabled(false) everythng in the config. filefrom dosbox. what i don´t need.
- tested frameskip 0-5 , 1 is good but not playable = 0
- cpu core dynamic
- cpu cycles tested :
auto = game is starting tooooooo slow and is not playable
fix 7000 and tested with ctrl+F12 and ctrl+F11 in game but not till minimum effect to gme speed

- disabled sound dosbox and disabled it over the install menu config. with saving config.

But the Game is till slowing down the street...what can i do is only play career without playing the game ...
