I could make another topic, but since most Mac users are here I will post it here. I have Crossover installed and just copied my most recent PC SWOS2020 folder (version 2.1) and it ran succesfully. Now, here it comes: I am using a Classic Gravis Gamepad (the flat one) with a Logilink USB adapter set to Mode 3 that does connect using Joystick Doctor. The only trouble is, it has a major deviation to the top left. It seems I can only test to see if it works, but not calibrate the detected 4-axis joystick in either Joystick Doctor or Crossover (using the Game Controllers control panel).

So is there a workaround for this? So I can use my Gravis Gamepad on the Mac? It would be nice to have a second device available for Coaching a cpu team, to give it the best tactic / players in right positions.
Last edit: 2 years 9 months ago by captaincofresi. Reason: Changed 'local multiplayer' to 'Coaching a cpu team' as reason for wanting a second controller.

Try joystickmapper.com/

(It's the MAC OSX equivalent to joy2key!)

Those logilink adaters are known to be faulty. Grab one from Radioshack, they don't have this problem.

Thanks, well I just got my Sensi keypad (based on an aJoy) and aJoy back with the USB converter. So I no longer need the Gravis Gamepad on the Mac. Also mostly use it just if I want to Coach the other team, e,.g. to make sure they got their best tactic / players in best positions to be a challenge ;-) .

And the Gravis Gamepad + Logilink Mode 3 works perfectly on the PC due to the possibility of calibration to get rid of the top-left deviation (and that can't be done on the mac). So the Gravis Gamepad will just be the dedicated second controller for Coach on the PC for me then, that works.

I have SWOS2020 version 2.1 installed on Crossover 19.0.1 (19.0.1.32209) and macOS Catalina 10.15.7, now when the launcher is opened it just freezes (although keyboard commands do get through somehow) just after/during the DLCs are being downloaded and I see a very quick flash of what I think are the Change Notes for the DLC update. How can I fix this, so I can play SWOS2020 on my Macbook again?
