Its down all the way for me these days since im on laptop keys, struggling with the after touch to get the ball in air when going up, can t remember the last time i scored a distance goal going up.

Upwards, for me this feels more natural when shooting on goal.

100% up preference. I understand the gravity and halucination of running faster downhill but still prefer better up,

Definitely upwards. I think this is a by-product of playing other sports games with a perspective view (John Madden on Megadrive, Jonah Lomu Rugby on Playstation, Striker on Amiga, etc) - going upwards is a massive advantage in these games as you can see so much more of the pitch in front of you. So up always feels like the best/default direction for me.
