i m not too clued up on online play,
i thought people mainly used the 96/97 version for online play (so that everyone had the same version),
i ve played mates online with the 2010-10 version, however i had to make sure they had the same download as me

I would be happy to play the other version online, it would be interesting with the updated teams etc. (which I think are great). But for the online matches on this site it is good to have the sensiblesoccer.de save disk of custom teams (and tactics).

I m used to:

left arrow: i
right arrow: o
up arrow: q
down arrow: a
fire: m

the quickest way is to re-install the game with the latest download (from page 1 of this topic),
then at the end, the key mapping tool launches, and just follow the help guide that also appears to register the tool and define your chosen keys

Okay I ve got a most odd problem with this download. I ve installed it, I assume correctly as I followed all the prompts and it placed a SWOS 2010-11 shortcut on my desktop.

Only clicking the shortcut doesn t seem to trigger anything at all.

So I hunted in the C:|Swos directory and found shortcuts for SWOS and SWOS 2010-11. Pushing these again seems to do not do anything, but then after a long delay WINUAE will appear. I then click okay and am presented with a repeating image of a disk being placed in a drive on a purple background.

Nothing else I do seems to actually start the game :/

As an aside does it HAVE to be instaled to C:\Swos?

And of course no sooner do I ask the stupid question, then I find a solution.

I ve now discovered the windows command scripts in the Launch folder. These seem to work fine, but how come there are two of 2 different versions of each? 10 Scripts in all.
