Data provided by Synchronated, updates of 15 full leagues including the Reserves League.
Player search utility contains 2013/14 data.

IMPORTANT: allow exe extractor to unzip to the default location, so that the auto installation works:
C:\Download\SWOS

2013/14 - Download

Note: you can re-run this latest installer over the top of any previous one,
it will automatically preserve your custom keys careers/saved games/highlights,
But to be on the safe side, firstly run [Start Menu\Programs\SWOS\Tools\Export Saved Games and Highlights]
which copies your [careers/saved games/highlights] file to your desktop (save.adf),
then run the latest installer

Works on Windows 10/8/7/Vista (32 64 bit versions), Windows XP

This emulated Amiga version for the PC is by far the best, with the following enhancements over it s competitors:
- Superior graphics to all (apart from the xbox, but that doesn t count!!)
- Atmospheric sound (better crowd noises than PC version)
- Perfect game speed (PC version too quick)
- No automatic shoot button (Megadrive version too easy)
- Ball doesn t stick to your feet like glue (Megadrive version too easy)
- The player sprites are just the right size too (PC version too big)

This version has all the latest modern day teams, player names, managers, hair colours, values, attributes, kits.
All provided by an update from Synchronated via synchronatedswos.blogspot.com/ which covers the following:
+ All national teams
+ Other major clubs - African region
+ Other major clubs - Asian region
+ Other major clubs - CONCACAF region
+ Other major clubs - European region
+ Classics

Package contents:

- Automatic installer
- Multi versions (Latest Swos, Original 96-97, Legends, Custom)
- Online ready for any of these versions (as long as your opponent is playing with the same game data as you)
- Player Search Utility (for finding players in all SWOS versions)
- Swos Editor for changing names, attibutes etc
- Modern advertising boards, goal netting, and ball graphics
- Multi Pitch Chant Changer (for all Swos versions)
- Full Screen Mode (if you change the resolution mode in startmenu)
- Play with your own preferred keys (via a key remapping tool), including using Online Swos
- Turn sound off option (so you can play Swos whilst listening to music on your PC)
- Chat program to setup the connection (always on top, new messages don t take window focus)
- Guide to save highlights to avi (using fraps/virtualdub)
- Full help files for everything (including playing online and changing player names)

Getting to grips with installing the amiga version (WinUAE) can be a little complicated.
So this installer should help.

Had some problems getting this to run on my Single Core Notebook, so I installed Speedswitch seems to have totally fixed the problem! I thought it was the sound, but it wasn t the problem :). Great Amiga version!

Run [Start Menu\Programs\SWOS\SWOS 2010-11] and open [input] tab.
Change [configuration #1] to [compatibitilty mode].
Open [game and io ports] tab, and set [amiga joy port 1] to [keyboard layout b]

2

Unfortunately I cant work out how to change the [preset competition] from the main menu.
So instead I had to make a [diy competition] and select all 32 teams with England as the human team.
You will have to do the same but choose another team.
Choose [diy competition] from the main menu, then [tournament].
Change the amount of teams to [32] by holding down [fire] and pressing [up] and few times.
Also change the first round to [8 groups of 4] and [3 points for a win]
Then choose [ok] and pick every world cup team (shown at bottom of this post)
making sure your team is human controlled, and play the tournament.
When you see the list of groups. exit the tournament, then choose [save tournament].
Now you can always load this World Cup in future without choosing all the teams again.

Note: there is a little trick so next time you play, your team can play in a different group,
after you are knocked out, should you not win it :) view all the remaining fixtures,
then at the end of the tournament choose [exit] to get back to main menu,
if you want to play again straight away but in a new group choose [Replay World Cup 2010]
if you want to play another day, instead choose [Save World Cup 2010], overwrite the
existing [WC2010] file, then next time you load this file your team will be placed in a brand new group.

How do I install on windows 7 64-bit please?

Read manualinstal.txt but not very clear. Up to enable winuae to save settings....... but there is no original.uae file within C:\SWOS\Configurations.

Then it states about the display settings, but how do I actually start the game/winuae to view display/control settings etc?

In need of a real newbie guide please.

The reason the installer doesn t complete is because a couple of exe files like [wait.exe] dont work on 64 bit versions.
I ll try and sort it out early this week.
