I never had amiga, so I really have no experience with that platform.

What is the difference between amiga 1200 and minimig?
What ports are available, how many, what is the price for the 2 systems?

There you can see realistic prized for used Amigas in great condition.

Of course the Minimig is a great piece of hardware, no doubts. It really depends on yourself if you like those modern things or the classic Amiga Computer. One of the biggest advantages is that a real Amiga 1200 for example is much cheaper than a Minimig. And of course cooler :)
