Save game problem was created by Eikon
I started playing the latest Amiga SWoS total pack the other day. I saved my career, and went to load it later on that day, and I get a message saying that the save was created with a different version of SWoS?

Had a quick browse, and I can t find any other threads that mention this, so I m guessing it isn t a common thing. Starting a new career is not a problem, but it would be a pain if it were to occur again.

Has anyone seen this before?

Nearly forgot! Congrats to starwindz, great work!

This error might happen when you set the floppy drive speed higher then 100%.

I ve tried loading the career in both 2.3.0 and 2.4.1, and it still says the files was created with another version of SWoS. I don t mind starting another career, but if it does it time and time again, then that s going to be a pain in the rear, to say the least.

Is there an option to do that?

It s not something I have changed though, so whether or not it is likely to be that or not, I don t know. I suppose I could create multiple saves in case it does happen again. Although if that were going to happen with all saves, then then I ll have to play the PC version instead.

Just start a test-career and save after 1st game. Then try it. This may avoid some pain the rear... :)

Started a new career earlier. Saved it, went back to it, and it loaded fine. Tried to load it just now, and I get the same created by another SWoS version message. Nothing altered, so I assume it just isn t going to work for me, for whatever reason. :(

Oh well, PC version it is then. :)

Try to play career with this package:
sensiblesoccer.pl/Setup_ASWOS2.exe

This may be caused by speed of floppy access. It will be modified in the next version of total pack.
