SWOS 96/97 ADF with winuae

Hi,

I desparetly try to play swos OFFLINE with my winuae emulator. Maybe something is wrong with my config. The strange thing is that I used to play it with my old computer without any problems. But at my new computer it doesn t either start at all (one specific swos download) or I get the red error message (the other file I downloaded).

Could you tell me what config you use or  provide me with a file?

And In any case use latest version of WinUAE (1.4.4) from www.winuae.net/

Thank you guys for the solutions. Both worked in their way. The intro appears after a while. But i have got two new problems:

1. Gamepad is not recognized any more

2. Suddenly I am asked to put in the SWOS Old Disk 1 . What does that mean? The SWOS 96/97 disk is already in the floppy. When I put in 96/97 Disk 2 - absolut no reaction.

Why don t you simply download the HDF version from ss.de? You can play online or offline with it.
It s already fully working (you only need to copy your Amiga KickStart ROM file to the ROMs dir) and loading times will be MUCH quicker than playing from ADF files.

If you really want to stick to the ADF files and regarding your question about the disks, do you have SWOS disk 1 on DF0 and disk 2 on DF1?

Not done, Playa Training mode in career doesn t work in this way, it s well-known bug

To make training mode working you must have swos-disk2.adf in floppy-drive DF0!!! Look at forum.sensiblesoccer.info/index.php?topic=3695.0 ;)

And with amigaonline2 version you can t save career comfortably, not like save state in common WinUAE.

Not sure what the best way to download swos for mac.
saw some older posts regarding emulation uae etc.
but i am a total novice with this stuff.
Just want to play swos!!!!
Can anyone help me with this. I have tried dosbox but there seemed to be a glitch in the program.

Any feed back woudl be greatly appreciated.
