Houston abbiamo un problema!

noto che nel ranking è ricomparsa gente che non si faceva vedere da un pezzo tipo Emiryuu, Nash, Taranto, Snoshi, Ronin, Bangone, Bangtwo, Lowneogetter, Candela e JPN (tanto per citarne alcuni, che siano tornati online stanotte tutti assieme mi pare improbabile haha ;D) e rispetto a ieri sera ho perso oltre 60 punti senza aver giocato (mentre altri han guadagnato bonus assurdi tipo +119 punti haha). ???

Ovviamente non possono essere gli effetti della Coppa Italia corrente perchè non è ancora terminata, quindi che è successo?

EDIT (forse ho capito!): ...a meno che impostare l evento Coppa Italia come torneo valevole per il ranking non abbia agito retroattivamente e dunque indotto il sistema a ricalcolare gli SRN di chiunque avesse giocato in passato qualche match di Coppa Italia coi i punti che avevamo ieri (nonostante alcuni match siano stati giocati mesi se non anni fa) ed in ordine totalmente casuale allo scattare della nuova stagione... lol

Tra l altro dal momento che i bonus per i piazzamenti non sono ancora stati aggiunti (1°, 2°, 3°, etc., che se non erro vanno messi a mano) quasi tutti i giocatori attivi han perso una caterva di punti haha.

certo che vedere 46 italiani contemporaneamente in classifica fa un certo effetto ;D

nope I m afraid it s not Waenae.

Rock made the Euroleague FA Cup SRN effective back in May 2010 or so and started adding (well, lobo used to add them before he got event manager access but that s besides the point) SRN points and bonuses for placement in the cups manually from that month onward.

On the other hand by making the Coppa Italia event SRN-effectiveness retroactive (all cups from the very beginning have become SRN effective all of a sudden) you (or whoever did it) made the system calculate the SRN balances of matches that were played up to two years ago with players current SRN values, which doesn t make sense and is skewing the ranking pretty bad (some of us gained like 400 or 500 more SRN s meanwhile which crippled the SRN outcomes of said matches a whole lot).

Case in point being the fact that most of the active players lost a lot of SRN points (even the ones who won the cup several times), also due to the fact that, AFAIK, the placement bonuses for 1st, 2nd and 3rd haven t been given either (not sure about it tho, kinda hard to figure out since the balances are all over the place and there s no reference).

Get what I mean? Pretty sure Lestat and Lemon wanted SRN and bonuses added from the current season (MAY 2011) (which hasn t been completed yet, there s still 1 match left to play) onward so I guess there s just been a misunderstanding

And you are right, no one have get any bonus, for the old cups. That would be too much work for so many cups.

Take it easy, you get now more SRN if you win vs. the higher ranked players

I see, that was a pretty big mistake on Lestat s part then (if true) and we all kinda lose (including him - although seeing 46 italians in the ranking at the same time is pretty cool! ) since our SRN quota got skewed big time (some peoples lost like 200+ points) and there s no turning back (I know for a fact that once the SRN s are given they can t be taken away due to the system limitations, unfortunately).

Oh well, here s to hope that at least the past few month s bonuses will be handed out at some point.

Sì Retri, ieri parlando con Wana ho voluto dare punteggi SRN anche a tutte le Coppa Italia....era dall inizio di questo tipo di coppe, che volevamo sto benedetto punteggio, io avrò perso 200 punti.....quindi di certo non l ho fatto x me

In ogni caso da questo mese si utilizzerà un altro tipo di punteggio, e cioè quel famoso bonus per i vari piazzamenti raggiunti anche in base al numero di partecipanti, cosa che per le vecchie coppe non si poteva fare.

E allora per chi è stato fatto Lestat, perchè con tutto il rispetto la cosa mi sfugge.

La verità è che non ve n era alcun bisogno, in Euroleague FA Cup (la coppa nazionale dell Euroleague) Rock ha cominciato a far aggiungere i bonus e gli SRN da un certo punto in avanti (su mia richiesta per giunta e mandava semplicemente un PM a lobo per farli inserire di volta in volta) e avremmo dovuto fare così anche noi. Punto.

Mi pareva la cosa più logica da fare e se avessi chiesto anche il nostro parere di sicuro te l avremmo fatto notare. Cioè A CHI abbia giovato sta cosa, devo ancora capirlo (voglio dare per scontato che fossi in buona fede perchè dopotutto sei andato a perderci quasi più di tutti, rimane comunque na strunzata galattica lol ;D).

Rendiamoci solo conto che è stata una cosa del tutto futile (oltre che deleteria) perche ora i nostri SRN non sono assolutamente rappresentativi di quanto accaduto in campo durante quelle partite/competizioni visto che nella maggior parte dei casi, almeno per quanto concerne i giocatori attivi, c erano differenze di centinaia e centinaia di punti fra quando i match di coppa sono stati giocati (mesi se non anni fa) ed il momento in cui gli SRN sono stati assegnati dal sistema (ieri, appunto), con buona pace dell ELO ranking. :-X

Inoltre, in addizione a tutti i punti bruciati per via di questo meccanismo del menga, non sono nemmeno stati aggiunti i bonus che da regolamento dovrebbero andare ai primi 4 piazzati delle coppe nazionali valevoli per il ranking , come a dire, cornuti e mazziati (a che serve rendere la competizione SRN-effective se poi non si danno i bonus? O fai entrambe le cose o non ne fai nessuna dai... :)

Quindi ok, se jochiamo non ci mettiamo molto a risalire , son d accordo e hai pienamente ragione, rimane il fatto che sono stati levati parecchi punti a quasi tutti i membri (attivi e non) della community italiana che han giocato in Coppa Italia senza alcun motivo lol. Cioè, boh.
