Ajax 2 Feyenoord 2
Feyenoord dominated the first 60 minutes (13-4 chances) but trailed 0-2 with vd Sar stopping everything.
A bit of Henka magic, and a great Henka pass earned a well deserved point for Rotterdam.

Feyenoord 2 FC Twente 0
Henka and Gaston blitzed the Twente defence and Feyenoord raced to a 2-0 lead within 15 minutes.
After Hagi got injured (expected to miss 2 games), Feyenoord relaxed and got the easy victory.

Feyenoord 8 FC Volendam 1
Nr.1 vs Nr.18. Was an upset on the cards? It appeared so after a Samardzic rebound gave Volendam a 0-1 lead after 4 minutes.
A quick Larsson hattrick meant it normal service was restored within 15 minutes.
Add another Larsson goal to 4 by Taument and it was clear why Feyenoord were flying high, and Volendam were in the pits.
This match also marked trialist Marco Kamphuys debut for the Rotterdam Dream Team.

Cup QF: Emmen 1 Feyenoord 3
Nothing major to report about. An easy victory and after the 0-3 a few strange changes (keeper in the attack etc. :)) and a sloppy goal conceded.
Next up in the semi finals: a home tie vs Lucky Ajax.

European Cup QF Leg 2: Rangers 3 Feyenoord 3
What a match! Taument scored a quick goal to make the task even more difficult for Rangers. Thanks to some Schmeichel blunders, they came back.
McCoist made it 3-1 within 30 minutes, with only 3 shots :S. Taument upped his game, scored 2 great goals to make it 3-3 at the half.
Try as they might Feyenoord couldn t pass the inspired Goram but they comfortably made it through to the semis to play Club Brugge (sorry, I hate
translating team names....now you know the proper Dutch name :D).

FC Utrecht 0 Feyenoord 6
Easy easy easy. Four more form Henke (including a first half hattrick) and Utrecht were nowhere in this rout.
The real drama happened after the match as José Valckx finally realized he wasn t going to make the first team and he handed in his resignation.
That wasn t all.....WE HAVE A JOB OFFER!!!!! AND IT S A SHOCKER!!!!
Mr. Friendly League has been offered the chance to become the new mangerial dictator of the New Zealand national team!
Mr. League is considering it and will give an answer at the end of Feyenoord s campaign :).
(Yes or no guys? :D :D :D :D :D :D :D)

Willem II 0 Feyenoord 4
Not much to say, a normal day at the office. Hagner got a yellow card...AND ANOTHER JOB OFFER!!!
PSV are struggling and hope that 3,510,000 pounds will be too great a temptation for Mr. League.

Feyenoord 6 NEC 0
Leon Lodewijks made his Leaague debut (got injured :D) and Nijmegen wept as hattricks from the dynamic duo gave Feyenoord the Dutch League title...again!
Could there be another trophy sweep for Feyenoord - mijn Feyenoord?
And can they hang on to their manager? First up: Club Brugge....have fun!

Mr. Friendly League is almost done here at Feyenoord. We re the league champions. Only a cherry on a pie - 2 cup finals (league cup with Twente, and EC with Porto).

Plus the next manager can make use of those 35 million saved in the bank :P

BUT REMEMBER - keep Rufer on board!!!

There was another job offer - from Germany! But don t you dare refuse the NZL association! :P

After this campaign with Feyenoord there are 2 postulates:
1. to call a situation when a player scores 3 or more goals in a game Henkatrick :)
2. to award Henka with NZL nationality!!! hehe

HF next!!!

And now a few details of our 11 matches:

The end of an era….what Rotterdam feared most, became reality as their manager Friendly League was named the new national team coach of New Zealand. First things first, two cup finals to give him the sending off he deserved.

First up the Dutch Cup Final.
Probably the best game ever! An early Twente goal was followed by a Taument beauty.
It didn’t last long, Twente took the lead again, Taument struck back.
Just before half-time the almost invisible Henka put Rotterdam in front.
The second half was even better. Twente equalized before Henka put Feyenoord in front again.
It seemed like the cup was heading for Rotterdam before Twente equalized. 4-4 with only a few
minutes to play. Then up stepped Super Henka, and scored a brilliant header to win the cup with only seconds remaining.
Another Henkatrick and the 5-4 victory gave Feyenoord the Cup.

Next up the European Cup Final vs Porto.
Try as they might, Feyenoord couldn’t score in the first half, but Porto could 0-1.
“We need another Henkatrick” xFlea said, and he delivered…3 from Henka, 3-1 final result and the European Cup was Rotterdam’s. A 121 goal season from Henka, another triple winning season and Friendly League left for Auckland in style. Oh, we packed Rufer in our suitcase too :D.

WC Qualifying time…6 games, 6 victories….
Twice 2-1 winners vs Australia, 2-0 and 5-0 vs the Solomon Islands and 10-0 and 5-0 vs Fiji.
Easy enough, somebody can have fun in the World Cup next season :D.

The Oceania Cup saw another 3 victories for New Zealand.
Another 2-1 victory vs Australia was followed by a 10-0 thrashing of the Solomon Islands and an easy 5-0 against Fiji.

Rufer scored over 2 a game, and his partner in attacking crime (Andy Taylor) was pretty useful as well.
Have fun next season, and don’t forget, Joseph Batai is a goalkeeping legend :P.
