I agree with Schulle about the aim of his post, but it s not the fault of those who nominate the same kind of goals, but others:
1. Those who create a demand for such goals by voting for them (like me)
2. Those who don t nominate other goals (like me)

I have recently many occasions when an opponent scored a great goal against me, but neither of us had a recorder ready to be used:) First step is to encourage more people to participate in this great competition and have the recorder in the right place.

Disagree. I am sure Schulle means not usual slidings or freekicks. There are many goals I have seen only once and never here in the competition.
By other goals then only high and standing headers I mean e.g. a combination of quick long passes with fine finish (standing header, shitty bahviour of goalie or just distance shot) or a strong slide on the 25th meter ending up right next to the post. Also, what about Maradona s best goal?

The goal I would like to see once more is one scored long time ago in the game with Playa. High/Long pass landing precisely in the penalty area corner - right in the place for a banana shot. It may not sound impressive, but it was a quick one and looked really nice.

Me and probably many other players wouldn t be able to repeat many/most of goals here in the competition, but it doesn t mean they are most beautiful. They are incredible achivements which is imo sth different from breathtaking goals:)
As I said before, it s a fault of players who does not take part in competition, not those who nominates. All goals seen here are great and hope to see more of them, but variety mentioned by Schulle would give sth fresh to this thread.

It s not boring because of the guys who nominate goals (even similar ones)... it s boring because of the people who DO NOT nominate anything.
