I talked with elmichaj about the pc swos tournament...
playing amiga and pc on saturday is possible, but only in parallel mode (time issue). I dont like playing 2 systems in the same time, I guess, most players feel the same.

Yes, indeed.

Well, this is only because you guys are DIY freaks, which is much more time consuming as always! Put up a 2nd system for each cup, and enter as friendlies. Problem solved .. :P

I have no objections to anything, single- or dual-platform.
If needed, I can bring a PC.

Well, on our Eifel Cups DIY leagues seem to work faster because you don t have to make setups like choosing teams (and eventually tactics) before every match. We ve already tested both options.

Playing two parallel tournaments doesn t matter to me but isn t this only working with a low number of participants and just one group on each of the systems? With 2 groups (which makes 4 groups playing parallel) you always have to reorganize the gaming schedule, look which players are free to play their matches. Even with friendlies this is a bit chaotic with 10 or more players imo.

As Friday and Sunday seem to be no real options maybe it s better to play one really BIG Amiga tournament with lots of group matches, supergroups, loser groups and so on :) (or maybe PC after the Amiga tourni?)

But let s Bomb and Micha decide ;)

I agree that it s better to make one BIG event on Amiga with so many people joining.
