Thanks, I just found that info, too... So, in that case, I will pick first 8 teams from current season, of course!

BTW, what about countries where leagues finished in spring (2015/2016) and new season starts this August or September (2016/2017).

This is the case for most countries I guess...

Do we choose teams according to 2015/2016 final table or the new season table (and after how many game weeks)?

Easy rule: Only take finished tables, if team number has to be reduced.
In case of GHANA, I can wait for 17th Sept., to get it most up-to-date (before deadline on 30th Sep!)!

Regarding teams, which will be in CL, we should do it I think like this: in this moment is in CL still playing 22 champions, from those we should take 16 - maybe according of ranking of countries, or ranking of clubs. Or we can wait few days for play-offs in CL, and we will see which more champions will be eliminated. From other teams, we should split cup winners, and again those, which are still playing in Champions League or Europa league, we should find 32 teams. And from rest teams in Europa League, we can find 32 best teams, or we can give few places for countries, which would have no team in CL and CWC. I will do analysis, which can help to consider.
