Can't find saved files

My saved games keep disappearing between sessions, everytime I start the game over and try to load an old competition it's just blank. There are saved files with the names I saved them under fsuae/hard drives/save but the game doesn't seem to find them. This is when I use the normal "Save career" in the game.

When I use F12 and save state during career mode the game keeps crashing the next time I load the saved state.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? Any help would be much appreciated.
