Just a small reminder that if you need us to bring some equipment, please let us know before 15 friday afternoon. I will bring 5 x gameport amiga connector cables anyway since it is always nice with some backup. I expect us to arrive before midnight, but you never know with the traffic.

Looking forward to some offline again. Cu in Eifel! :)

Thx for the offer Poul. Connectors will be good, as well as maybe 1 extra keypad.
Btw. Which tactics do you guys use? Same as at Sensi Days. They should be on Playas PCs then, right?

Have a good trip - the big beer is waiting for you

OK guys, ElMichaJ drove me home safely, time for some thoughts.

After my 5th appearance it s a little bit like coming home every year. The Eintracht Frankfurt bedlinen, Paiders parents sitting at the breakfast table, Thomas showing up and as usual he didn t want to participate...... and I always tried to convince him, but no success. :)

Nethertheless it was my first Friday evening at Sistig. So now I know the local bar, the bartender and of course the nine pins alley. Tiny little glasses of Bitburger but always fresh beer. I also learnt about the big glasses . Strange seeing Griesgram sleeping on the bars ground. :o Oh and the salad was great. :D

The tournament itself took part in a new build house near the soccer field. Still not 100% complete but perfect for a SWOS tournament with 20 players.

The SWOS tournament was administrating professional as usual by the members of the Eifel Crew. Thanks for the good work guys, you re getting better every year.

Personal I finished 13th place. Not so good, but ok when you look at the participants quality.

Congrats to djowger for winning this years Eifel Cup. Great performance after such a long roadtrip.

Also congrats to Justifa for the good mood all the time, even when not scoring a single goal during group stage. (Later he scored several goals). ;)

So I hope you all have arrived home safely.

Personal thanks to Paider and his parents. Elmichaj for driving, and of course the whole Eifel Crew for organizing this great event.

Good luck and peace to all of you for the next year 2018
See you on the pitch.

St. Vitus

Thx to the Eifel crew for organizing this event. Everything went smooth (besides the usual calibrating stuff ::) ), and good accommodation at the Ferien Wohnung.
Always great to meet your Swos friends offline, some funny talks, good games and plenty of bitburger pils. Don t really have any suggestions for improving the Eifel Cup since everything is top notch, perhaps only an anti-farting rule while playing :P

Great to see that other people than Danes came from long distance like Lobo. Didn t know your PC level was this good, almost knocking out Andib in the Quarter Final. Well played mate.

Tournament wise, not that many surprises for me besides perhaps the final were I somehow managed to beat Playaveli. Top 4 were also top seedings from the ranking. However I was impressed by both Pino (some crazy goal frenzy games vs him with no defense in both ends) and of course Klaris who is not a PC player at all, destroying everyone in his group including Andypsilon and Klinki. Well played mate. He said he had difficulties playing on the 2nd pc which we used in the super group, but he was back on form in the QF despite agg. loss.

Not much else to say than Im already looking forward to next month s event in Berlin at Bomb s place. Cu offline!

Really enjoyed my first Xmas Cup. Great to make acquaintance to Eifel locals as well as their internationals. Fun Friday night, followed by a flawless Saturday tournament. This tournament has a great reputation and it so lived up to it! Well done Eifel Crew.

Personal highlights must be the games v Andib. Probably my best on PC so far.

Big thanks to Playa for the lift from the airport and congrats to the winners.

On a side note, I kept wondering how much PC SWOS skills community level went up in last 10 years. We used to have specialists for each platform, now all lines seem to have blurred.

Hope to join it again soon!

Again it was a great event and i was happy to be part of it. Location was nice and also the sleeping places. Also tournament mode and number of players were nice.

My first groupstage was not that good, but in 2nd chance group i could show some nice matches and wins vs lobo, schulle, heinair and paider … like 8-1-1 .

In Quarterfinal the first match vs playa was nice (because of darth vader music in background) :D but the second match i was too bad.

But i could manage to get the 5th place and so the final result was ok for me.
The 4 other players in semis were too strong for me ;) it was a really high skilled tournament. The eifel community has a big foundation of nice talents and long time players. I wish it could be like that in Berlin ;)

Well, the tournament was perfect. But i were mentally down and sad, because my brown rabbit died a day before. So it was not easy to be happy there, even if the administration and the people of the tournament were really nice.

Thx to all players and admins there, see you next time again.

Hey all, it s been a very nice weekend in the good old snowy Eifel.
Thanks to the Eifel-Crew to keep the tradition going and making it so easy for all of us.

Pub night was funny as always, just a bit... too much Schnaps... :D

Tournament went fine, except those damn Gamepads in Group A... get rid of them! ;)
My group went super fast, this should be the benchmark for Sensible Days!

Had some very cool matches in all stages of the tournament.
Congrats Poul, you saved up some creativity/energy for the important bit, the final... deserved win, you had 60% control of the 2 legs!

Lobo vs. andib were very cool matches to watch. Also Klaris performance throughout the tournament was more than respectable.
As Lobo said... the lines have blurred , not totally, but more and more!

CU all!

Okay, hope you all had a good christmals time - finally some words from me.

Thanks to all of you for participating in our cup, making it a high-quality, international tournament. Still awesome to see people travelling huge distances
from in- and outside Germany for our PC SWOS tourni to keep offline SWOS alive.

I liked the nice start on friday in our local pub with a lot of chatting, eating, skittles and many small and a few big beers ;)

The tournament on saturday went very smooth imo, although I would have liked to end the event before 0:00 o clock. A few controllers still caused some problems,
while two groups went very smooth with nearly no calibrating between the matches.

Biggest surprises for me were Klaris and Pino with outstanding first group stages, and Lobo with a fantastic 2nd chance group and a brilliant quarter final against andib, which he
was about to win when some annoying technical issue happened. Nevertheless: Unofficial fair-play trophy goes to you, mate!

Congratz ofc again to Djowger, who got back into shape quite at the right time, and to Playa as well for taking silver (such a close and nice semi against you ;))

Your feedback in here shows that you all seem to be happy as well with the tournament, I m very glad about it.
So I hope to see all of you again at our cup in 2018 - would be great!
