Pitch types
I would like to know the details of pitch types:
1. Frozen, 2. Muddy, 3. Wet, 4. Soft, 5. Normal, 6. Dry, 7. Hard, 8. Seasonal, 9. Random
I know how work pitch Seasonal and Random, I know which gives other pitch, but I need accurate the data about physics them. Who help me?
I editing matchs file (DIY) and see that are two place about pitch type - one for visible, second for physics.

Muddy = Slowest ball physics, fewest bouncing, different look
Soft, Normal, Dry, Hard = Same physics, normal, but different look
Wet = Faster ball physics
Frozen = Fastest ball physics, different look
(Use swpe.exe to find the different looks)

Are you sure that Hard and Soft have this same physics?

Hm, here are my thoughts:

Very interesting topic tomplus, I hope you can unravel some of the physics from the hex numbers or some sort of explanation to the pitch types...
lol playa.. We had this exact discussion in Berlin (if u remember

Imo it seems ball control is usually a little worse on muddy and frozen pitch even using a player with max in ball control. furthermore the ball bounces a little higher on frozen and maybe also hard pitch, making the wänä goal possible ^^

- ball bounces
- ball acceleration
- speed reduction of players
- shot strength modifier

In general, if I had to order pitches by its hardness, here are my thoughts
1. frozen (the hardest)
2. dry
3. hard
4. normal
5. soft
6. wet
7. muddy (the softest)
Frozen and muddy has the most noticable differences, but I think that rest of pitches also don t differ only in colour.
But it s also my subjective thoughts

Question: why SWOS have two place with pitch type? Probably (I don t research more data) one place it physic (5140), two place it look pitch type (54).
