Dana IRC = virus/malware?

Hi.. I got a warning from Windows 7 telling me Dana IRC (dana.exe) is sort of backdoor virus.. True or a hoax? Could be another program listed with same name (dana.exe) that is listed as unwanted file.

I really like the Dana IRC client mostly because of its simplicity, but I don t want to use it if it is a potential threat to my system. Can anyone clearify on this matter?

I see download link on ss.de is dead too. but that is probably another story..

Not a virus, but there is a security hole in Dana, so you better use another IRC client because it s outdated and is not fixed/updated since 2005!
