Player refusing to be substituted!

I didn t save it, DAMN!

In a game vs Bobbie one of my players got injured. I had a free kick and he was standing just a few meteres from the bench. I made a substitution and he came off the pitch only to come back straight away!! I tried it 5 times and every time he came back like a yo-yo. Finally I gave up and let him stay on the pitch.

Did anyone have it before or should I take it to the patent office?
