why I can t open this editor, what program I must use ?

HEllo, just a note about a couple of bugs i´ve found.
When you change the value in the promotion/relegation box for division 1 2, the game only modifies the promotions.
And when I add a new team with new team number, the tactics viewer shows the goalkeeper info in all the positions.
Apart from that, the editor is great. I´m adding argentinian lower leagues by swapping them with the ones of El salvador.

I have been trying to get this to work, but with no luck. Can someone please point me in the direction to a simple guide on how edit players for a team? I can run the program but I cannot seem to edit values or names. They just reset to 0 no matter what value I enter. Any help would be much appreciated.

I think you are probably currently typing into the blank template and haven t loaded a team file to edit.
Click the folder icon top left, or file- open, then point the program to your SWOS/Data directory.
Then in Countries drop-down menu select a data file to edit, and then in Teams select the specific team to view.

If you have opened a valid team.xxx file that is either from the PC version or unpacked Amiga version, you should be able to change all values and save them. The player price will depend solely on the skill attributes though, so remember that the scale is 0-7 and that 8-15 are the same scale repeated (ie 7 = 15 = perfect and 8 = 0 = terrible). Also remember that changes won t take effect in the career mode transfer market unless you run the fix foreign market function in PCSWOSFF on the entire data folder.

I am trying to make SWOS Editor 1.3.0 work using the SWOS installed from the Swos19mar11.exe file.
I follow the instructions as they are written in the help, i.e. I:
1) copy the blank.adf file in a newly created directory,
2) copy the content of the SWOS.adf file in the same directory,
3) open the editor and choose the DATA folder

At this point I presume I should choose the executable files for the PC and the Amiga, or...? Anybody can tell me where I can find them?

In case the step above is not necessary and I should only choose a country and then press YES when the window Amiga packaging files detected. Etc etc : I also tried this way, but once I press YES nothing happens. Is there anything I should be aware of? Anybody that encountered the very same problem and solved it somehow?

Finally for the records: I am using Windows 7.

It is tricky to work with Amiga packed files on an adf.
Work with files from the data folder of a PC version and then use propack to make them Amiga compatible later if you need to. That s my approach anyway, even though I only actually play the Amiga version.
You don t need to locate the executable unless you intend to edit the executable.
