Does anyone have an empty but working .TEAM file? was created by CJ
I am trying to update the entire Scottish section, which includes adding 2 new teams to take it from 40 teams to 42...
Using the SWOS editor by Whiteulver I creatied a new team from scratch, assigning it a unique ID #, naming each player, etc.
However when testing every player in the team took on the info from the goalkeeper, i.e.:
If the first player in the list was [1] [John Smith] [G] [SCO] [200K], the other 15 players took on exactly the same information, regardless of what i did in the editor.
I tried exporting an existing team from the same division, in this case Queen s Park to a .TEAM file then importing said file into new team, renaming the team ELGIN CITY and saving.
This worked to an extent, I could not control the new team in a friendly but could play against them and the correct lineup took the field.
HOWEVER, when playing a season/ career, I cannot select the new team without the game hanging on the initial loading screen (even diabling the chairman scenes don t seem to work).
When I select a different team, the league table shows QUEENS PARK twice.
I then tried a greek team, exporting them and importing them into the ELGIN CITY shell.
While it allowed me to choose them in a career without crashing, my fixture list included European Cup Winners Cup games alongside my Scottish Division 3, League Cup and Scottish Cups ties...
My only thought now is to find a completely blank .TEAM file which will hopefully take on the attributes of the SCottish league without clashing with an existing team or retaining remnants of its original country (like European Tournaments)
I apologize if I ve made something simple sound extremely complex but I have only rediscovered SWOS after almost 10 years and have been completely taken in by it again!

SWOS punishes everyone, who is trying to change some league-structures, on his own way: With crashing!
In my eyes it doesn t matter what teamdata you use, the problem is increasing the league from 40 to 42. SWOS doesn t like this.
