Cool that you ve rediscovered SWOS, it really is a great game isn t it?

Also, as far as getting PC SWOS to run well in XP, I used to use VDMSound, and just followed Playa s excellent tutorial:

Yes, I always preferred SWOS ... you have to be an octopus to play those FIFA games with all their complicated key-combinations ... end up spending more time looking at the keyboard than at the pitch!

And once I ve got my skills up-to-speed again I ll certainly check out that Amiga version, so thanks for that and the chat ID

Though Norwich FC was my local club before I came to NZ.

OK EreWeGo, a league sounds like a neat idea!

Obviously, I have to polish up my dribbling technique first - at the moment my fellas keep leaving the ball behind if I zigzag up the pitch too much (I remember this rather tricky problem from years ago!). And I ll have to get the hang of tactics and stuff again too.

Then I ll check out the Amiga version and drop you a line.
