I think ss.de should pick it s prefered instant messenger (like MSN, Skype, ICQ or some other)
It would make easier to find ppl when they are online to play ASL and other matches.
I sometimes log on IRC, see noone i need is online and then leave and do other stuff online, and it is pain checking every X mins if someone has logged in.
Therefore you should check the player profile on ss.de and look for messenger contact data.
Or send PMs on this forum or website and/or use schedule topics to arrange a time for playing your matches.

I know, bud ss.de doesn t reccomend, or promote instant messangers.
If there was WE USE MSN on first page i bet all players would benefit.
There could be lists for download (let s say ASL4 contacts, or all ASL contact, or something like that)

I already checked this possibility. Unfortunately the SMF board system does not support that.
I also know that it would be better if boards/posts from topics (eg gaming schedulers of leagues people do not play in or other language boards) are not listed there.
Therefore I can only suggest to use this...

...instead of the recent topic list.
Because then you can choose which unread topic/posts to read and just mark the rest as read which do not interest you.
I will have a look again if there is a patch for the option you wish for after Easter holidays.

But I can t enter #sensible.pt for example (or any other channel besides #sensible), I think this is merely a configuration issue and will be solved by adding #sensible.pt to access_channel list on the config file.
So maybe all country specific channels (#sensible.pt,#sensible.pl,#sensible.tr, etc) could be added so we can enter those channels too if we use CGI:IRC.
