I try to find the best possible date to play, so I hope to get a few opinions from players, who would probably join.

i am glad to see that you are back in the offline-cup-business again
almost needless to say that im very interested in joining, and i think klaris is too (the maybies would probably be: madshilde/dons/lindholm). if we can fill up a car with 2-4 people we will go for sure.
but it could all be decided on the weekend you pick, so i hope it all fits together. but the sooner you find a date, the sooner you will have a straight answer.
i was quite unhappy that we couldn t go to either salghetto cup and berlin cup, hopefully it will work out this time
oh, perhaps a stupid question: tactics allowed or not?

Having:
10 AMIGAs
20 Players
Making:
1 Big League 1 game each other
1 sensible match plan, all players play at same time…
20 minutes per matchday (19 Matchdays)
6,5 hours of playing a competition like Bundesliga
Like in Oli O Times …. One big League …
The most Constant Player will win …
And maybe a knockout cup besides …

So...I d like to hear opinions about the first (Sep 3rd) or the second (Sep 10th) weekend in September.
One Idea…
10 AMIGAs
20 Players
Making:
1 Big League 1 game each other
1 sensible match plan, all players play at same time…
20 minutes per matchday (19 Matchdays)
6,5 hours of playing a competition like Bundesliga

Hmm...well, FOR ME one of the most important things in joining offline tournaments is to watch at other matches as there are always some very thrilling and high class ones. Doing it that way like you re mentioning would mean that NOONE would be able to view a single match of two other participants. A bit to sterile for me, sorry. And not the spirit of Offline SWOS too (again: for me). Furthermore I don t want to miss the K.O. matches full of adrenaline. SWOS offline isn t necessarily a matter of constant playing...it s the K.O. thrill what makes SWOS tournaments so wonderful...
As always I ll create a tournament which guarantees fun and a smooth course. AND...as always there will be another Sensible Soccer tournament, running in K.O. mode (if enough participants) or with Groups/K.O. Most likely it will be a Classic Sensible Soccer tournament. So...don t be afraid to die of boredom that day ;D
