Hi again chaps, I m now trying to play SWOS2 (Amiga SWOS Online) on the PC via WINUAEXP, but for some reason I can t get my gamepad recognised. It s showing within control panel (Windows XP) and I can configure it and move the cursor around correctly.

However, when I load WINUAEXP, although the pad is showing in the Input tab (as 1: USB Gamepad), I can t get SWOS2 to recognise the game at all.

In Game I/O Ports I have the following set:

Amiga Joy Port 0 : PC Joystick 0
Amiga Joy Port 1 : Keyboard Layout B

Is this correct?

PS: I m using a Trust USB Easyplay Gamepad:

try clicking the [swap] button, then try again,

if it doesn t work you may have to set joypad buttons from the [input] tab:
set [mode] to [configuration #1] and choose your [device]
set [axis 1] to [joy2 horizontal]
then [axis 2] to [joy2 vertical]
also set buttons 1-4 to [joy2 fire/mouse left button 0x00]

however i ve never used a usb controller, so not sure if different

11/09/11 Update (this has now been replaced by 12/09/11 update:

Please download from the link on the first post, and then re-install.
It should preserve your careers etc, however to be sure, manually backup the following:
c:\SWOS\Disks\save.adf

guys, you gotta help me...
i need to run the swos pack on my mac using wine, but i just can t find a way... the installer runs, but then it says can t find path , because i think it doesn t recognize the C: drive.
please someone help me step by step, it s important for me! if possible i don t want to install windows on my mac. as i said, wine runs well.
